Hey Loyola, I’m a 50 year old senior who decided to finish my college career after taking a 25 year break. I graduate in May of 2009 after taking 19 straight semesters of classes. During those 19 semesters, I avoided web design like the plague. So, low and behold what is my senior capstone project?? Designing this web site! Go figure.

Here is my story, the 12 of us in this class along with Professor Lillie decided to design a site to promote Loyola student works that would probably never see the light of day after being turned in for grading. That is, unless a faculty member decided to encourage the author to attempt to get their work published. During my 7 years as a student here at Loyola, I have had the privilege of taking classes with some very talented students. Hopefully this site will allow students and faculty members to share their talents with the world outside of Loyola and who knows maybe even gain several of my talented classmates some much deserved recognition.

My role in helping to launch this site was to gather content and to produce several travel videos which highlight some of the many unique places to visit in the vicinity of Loyola. I hope you enjoy what we have produced and hopefully we have shown you some cool places to visit during your academic career at Loyola.
