Belvedere Square

You may think York Road is just a street with a couple of cheap bars, but think again.  Tucked away off of York Road is Belvedere Square, an area filled with shops and restaurants.  The ever-popular Ryan’s Daughter is located here, with its traditional Irish fare and delicious burgers.  Shoppers can browse through clothing, books, home furnishings, and gifts.  There is also a large gourmet market that has practically everything a food-lover would enjoy, such as artisan breads and specialty smoked meats, all from around the area.

During summer nights, there are free outdoor concerts for the locals to enjoy.  The restaurants and shops hold special events as well, such as readings at the bookstore, or dinner specials at various eateries.  The stores, restaurants, and gourmet market are open daily.

Head north on York Road and make a right onto Belvedere Avenue.
