The Golden Globe-winning Fox musical comedy left viewers captivated by Mr. Schuester’s endearing charm and drive to keep the Glee Club alive, despite, Sue Sylvester’s attempt to dismantle it. It will be interesting to see where Mr. Schuester’s and Emma’s newfound, but complicated, relationship leads.

Of course the high school setting adds to the drama. The unbelievably talented but equally neurotic lead singer, Rachel Berry, stirs the commotion among New Directions when she begins dating the lead singer of Vocal Adrenaline, New Direction’s rival. The new star-crossed relationship raises questions within New Directions: is Rachel’s new boyfriend only using her to get inside information about McKinely’s Glee Club? Keep your friends close and your enemies closer, right?

Besides the new and exciting drama, us “gleeks” are obviously most thrilled about the new music. Previously, New Directions sang everything from Broadway classics to Carrie Underwood’s hit singles. Because New Directions took Sectionals by storm, “gleeks” are looking forward to hearing the songs that will potentially lead the Glee Cwin at Regionals.
