Tough Finish, Brings Hope to Next Season
By Jimmy Mulroy
BALTIMORE – The Loyola Maryland Club Lacrosse team finished their season last week with a 9-6 record to cap off one of their most successful years to date.
The Greyhounds hoped to have gone further this year, missing the national tournament by one game, but were overall happy with their performance.
Junior attackman Brian Dole, felt that the team played well but just had a few games barely slip from their grasp that they easily could have won.
The team will be unfortuantly loosing their senior captain, along with a few other seniors this year but believe they will be just as successful in this up coming season without them.
The Loyola Club Lacrosse team competes in roughly 13 games through the NCLL (National College Lacrosse League) and practices three times week. They are comprised of 30 members of the Loyola student body and are always looking for new recruits at all positions and skill levels.
