Lakes at Homeland
Tired of the hustle and bustle of the city? Retreat to the upscale community of Homeland and enjoy the neighborhood’s beautiful lakes. Gorgeous trees, flowers, and beautifully landscaped homes surround these tiny, charming lakes, which are little-known to the Loyola community. The lakes are the focal point of this affluent neighborhood, which was originally designed by the same people who designed New York’s Central Park. Families bring their children here to watch them run around the lakes or feed the ducks that lazily paddle around in the water. Joggers often loop around the lakes for a scenic view on their morning runs. Take a stroll, feed the ducks, or just simply relax and take in the view.
From Homeland Avenue, turn onto Springlake Way and continue straight until you arrive at the lakes.
